Introduction: The Philosophy of Voluntary Worship

📖 About This Book

This book is a comprehensive guide to Sunnah prayers and Sunnah deeds - the voluntary acts of worship that the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) performed and encouraged. While the obligatory (Fard) acts are the foundation of our faith, the Sunnah acts are the means by which we draw closer to Allah and perfect our worship.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "Allah said: 'My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him.'"
