رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:200)
🌟 This is one of the most comprehensive duas - asks for good in both worlds. Recite it regularly, especially after completing Hajj or Umrah.
رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَىٰ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
Rabbana-utmis 'ala amwalihim washdud 'ala qulubihim fala yu'minu hatta yarawal-'adhabal-alim
Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so they will not believe until they see the painful punishment.
Surah Yunus (10:88) - Dua of Musa (AS) against Pharaoh
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي * وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي * وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي * يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbi-shrah li sadri * Wa yassir li amri * Wahlul 'uqdatan min lisani * Yafqahu qawli
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]. And ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue. That they may understand my speech.
Surah Ta-Ha (20:25-28) - Dua of Musa (AS)
🌟 A powerful dua for confidence, ease in tasks, and clear speech. Recite it before important meetings or speeches.
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Rabbi la tadharni fardan wa anta khayrul-warithin
My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors.
Surah Al-Anbiya (21:89) - Dua of Zakariya (AS) for a child
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbi-ghfir li wa hab li mulkan la yanbaghi li-ahadin min ba'di innaka antal-Wahhab
My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Surah Sad (38:35) - Dua of Sulayman (AS)
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
Rabbi-ghfir li wa liwalidayya wa liman dakhala baytiya mu'minan wa lil-mu'minina wal-mu'minati wa la tazidiz-zalimina illa tabaran
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.
