🌟 Virtue: 'Aishah (RA) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ was not more particular about any supererogatory prayer than the two Rak'ats before Fajr. He ﷺ said: "The two Rak'ats at dawn are better than this world and what it contains" (Muslim). These should be performed briefly.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
١ قُلْ يٰٓأَيُّهَا الْكٰفِرُونَ
Qul yaa ayyuhal-kaafiruun
Say, "O disbelievers."
٢ لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
Laa a'budu maa ta'buduun
I do not worship what you worship.
٣ وَلَآ أَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
Wa laa antum 'aabiduuna maa a'bud
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
٤ وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ
Wa laa ana 'aabidum maa 'abadtum
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
٥ وَلَآ أَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
Wa laa antum 'aabiduuna maa a'bud
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
٦ لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ
Lakum deenukum wa liya deen
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
١ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Qul huwallahu ahad
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One."
٢ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
Allahus-Samad
Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
٣ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
He neither begets nor is born.
٤ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad
Nor is there to Him any equivalent.
📖 Note: After reciting Al-Fatiha and the Surah in each Rak'ah, perform Ruku, Sujood, and complete the prayer as normal. These two Rak'ats should be performed briefly - do not prolong them.
