🌟 Status: Witr is an odd-numbered prayer performed after Isha, before Fajr. It is highly recommended (Sunnah Mu'akkadah) and is considered the seal of the night prayers. The Hanafis consider it Wajib (necessary), while the majority consider it Sunnah Mu'akkadah.
Method 1: Three Rak'ats (2+1)
• Pray two Rak'ats, say Tasleem
• Then pray one Rak'at separately
• Recite Qunoot in the final Rak'at
Method 2: Three Rak'ats (Continuous)
• Pray three Rak'ats without sitting for Tashahhud after the second Rak'at
• Sit only at the end of the third Rak'at
• This distinguishes it from Maghrib (which has Tashahhud after 2nd Rak'at)
Rak'at 1: After Al-Fatiha, recite Surah Al-A'la (87)
Sabbihis-ma Rabbikal-A'la
Rak'at 2: After Al-Fatiha, recite Surah Al-Kafirun (109)
Qul ya ayyuhal-kafirun
Rak'at 3: After Al-Fatiha, recite Surah Al-Ikhlas (112)
Qul huwallahu ahad
Qunoot Supplication
When to Recite: In the final Rak'at of Witr, after rising from Ruku (or before Ruku according to Hanafi school)
Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta, wa 'afini fiman 'afayta, wa tawallani fiman tawallayta, wa barik li fima a'tayta, wa qini sharra ma qadayta, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayka, innahu la yadhillu man walayta, [wa la ya'izzu man 'adayta], tabarakta Rabbana wa ta'alayta.
Translation: "O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, be an ally to me among those You are an ally to, bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can decree over You. Indeed, he is not humiliated whom You have allied with, [nor is he honored whom You have opposed]. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted."

📖 Note: After reciting Qunoot, complete the Rak'at with Sujood and Tashahhud, then say Tasleem to complete the Witr prayer.
