📍 About Madinah

While not part of the Hajj or Umrah rituals, visiting Madinah and the Prophet's Mosque is a highly emphasized Sunnah. The Prophet ﷺ said:

"One prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand prayers elsewhere, except for Masjid al-Haram."

— Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

You may visit Madinah before or after Hajj. Many pilgrims visit for 8 days (to pray 40 prayers in congregation at the Prophet's Mosque).

🌹 The Rawdah (Garden of Paradise)

The Prophet ﷺ said: "The area between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise."

This blessed area has green carpets and is extremely crowded. Access requires booking via the Nusuk app.

⏰ Recommended Stay

Many scholars recommend staying 8 days in Madinah to achieve 40 consecutive prayers in Masjid Nabawi:

"Whoever prays forty prayers in my mosque, not missing a single prayer, will have freedom from the Fire written for him."

— Ahmad (authenticated by some scholars)
