📖 The Prophet ﷺ said: "The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are small" (Bukhari). These daily practices sanctify the mundane aspects of life and bring us closer to Allah.
Before Eating
• Say "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah)
• Wash hands
• Eat with right hand
• Start with what is nearest

In the name of Allah
After Eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alhamdulillah
Praise be to Allah
• Lick fingers
• Clean plate
• Recite dua after eating
Before Drinking
بِسْمِ اللهِ
Bismillah
In the name of Allah
• Drink in 3 sips
• Don't breathe into cup
• Don't drink standing (if possible)
After Drinking
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alhamdulillah
Praise be to Allah
Dua for Entering Home
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkaltna
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we depend.
• Enter with right foot
• Greet family with Salam
Dua for Leaving Home
بِسْمِ اللهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.
• Exit with left foot
Dua for Entering Mosque
بِسْمِ اللهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ، اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah. Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatik
In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
• Enter with right foot
• Perform 2 Rak'ats (Tahiyyat al-Masjid) before sitting
Dua for Leaving Mosque
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik
O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.
• Exit with left foot
Dua for Entering Bathroom
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Allahumma inni a'oodhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from male and female devils.
• Enter with left foot
• Don't speak inside
• Don't face Qibla
Dua for Leaving Bathroom
غُفْرَانَكَ
Ghufranak
I seek Your forgiveness.
• Exit with right foot
When to Use Miswak
• Before every prayer
• Upon waking up
• Before reciting Quran
• Before entering home
• After eating
🌟 The Prophet ﷺ said: "If I did not fear that it would be difficult for my Ummah, I would have ordered them to use the Miswak before every prayer." (Bukhari)
Salam (Islamic Greeting)
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

• Respond to greeting
• Greet children
