This is the busiest and most physically demanding day of Hajj. You will perform four major rituals in sequence. Eid Mubarak! 🎉
From Muzdalifah, proceed to Mina and go directly to the Jamarat complex. Today, you only stone the large pillar (Jamrat al-Aqabah).
The Sunnah time is morning (Dhuha). However, due to extreme crowding, modern regulations assign time slots. Stoning is valid any time from Fajr of the 10th until Fajr of the 11th. Follow your group's scheduled time for safety.
After stoning, the sacrificial animal (Hady) is required for those performing Hajj al-Tamattu or Qiran.
You must fast: 3 days during Hajj (ideally 11th, 12th, 13th Dhul-Hijjah) + 7 days after returning home = 10 days total.
After the sacrifice is confirmed (or sufficient time has passed):
After shaving/trimming, you enter the first Tahallul:
This is a Fard (Pillar) of Hajj - it MUST be performed. Travel to Makkah (via Metro or bus) to perform this Tawaf.
After completing Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa'i:
The four rituals are ideally performed in order (Rami → Hady → Halq → Tawaf), but the Prophet ﷺ showed flexibility. When asked about doing them out of order, he said: "No harm, no harm."
Many pilgrims stone in the morning, then go directly to Makkah for Tawaf al-Ifadah (avoiding Mina's heat), return to shave, while the sacrifice is being processed automatically. This is perfectly valid.
