💎 What is Al-Kawthar?
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise which my Lord has given me. It is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. There are birds in it whose necks are like the necks of camels."
'Umar said: "Those are the comfortable [birds], O Messenger of Allah!" He ﷺ said: "Those who eat them are even more comfortable." (Tirmidhi)
The cups around Al-Kawthar are as numerous as the stars. Whoever drinks from it will never thirst again.
📖 About This Surah
• This Surah was revealed when Al-'As ibn Wa'il mocked the Prophet ﷺ calling him "Abtar" (cut off) after his son Ibrahim died.
• Allah reversed the insult - it is the ENEMIES who are cut off from all good.
• "Al-Kawthar" means abundance in everything: prophethood, followers, knowledge, intercession, the river in Paradise.
• Response to blessings: Pray and sacrifice for Allah alone, not for show or worldly gain.
• Today, billions follow the Prophet ﷺ while his enemies are forgotten - proof of this Surah!
